ARI partners are essential in helping them deliver the level of service they clients expect. They largest group of partners are maintenance and repair shops. ARI works with more than 90,000 shops in the United States, and they have partnerships with national chains as well as independent facilities like Butchs Brake and Muffler.

For those of you who may not know Butchs is a family owned and operated business. Over the years we have welcomed new family members to help the business grow. We would like to have you join us on this tear jerking journey that allows you to embark on our personal lives which will give you a better understanding of the last four years.

Nicky played an important roll in the business. She did it all from running the shop to teaching book keeping to our niece. She was passionate about her work and made sure it was done well. Her gentle loving soul was full of compassion and she wasn’t afraid to let it show. Four years ago Nicky was diagnosed with cancer. She was full of life and continued to strive to stay alive. Due to her diagnosis she pulled back from being so involved with the businesses so she could concentrate on her healing. At this time Butch also had minimal involvement in the shops. Things were looking up when a year later she was diagnosed with Ascites. Ascites is where you have an abnormal amount of fluid build up in your abdomen. She also had intermittent vision loss. Unfortunately after a long and brave fight Nicky passed away July 16, 2017.

Everyone was battling this fight with Nicky which caused there to be some changes. Daniel was given the task to run Abbotsford and Kyle was to run Surrey. Daniel and Kyle did the best they could with the minimal guidance they had. They were given the opportunity to shine and they did exactly that.

Since Nicky’s passing we have been working extremely hard at getting back to where we were. Butch has picked up the teaching stick and has continued teaching the staff Nicky’s ways. We greatly appreciate all her hard work and knowledge she shared with us over the years.

Nicky was a great asset to the business and has shown the staff here at Butchs how much of a wonderful person she was. We hope to carry on her light that lit every room, her smile that shined bright and her laugh that was infectious.

She is dearly missed but will truly never be forgotten.
